John was the Democrat nominee for State Superintendent of Public education in 2014 & 2018. 
John explains how he's been advocating for sensible conservative education policy while the Republican office holder demonstrated ineptitude and worse.
We talk about John's pilgrimage back to the Republican party of his college days, and the conservative solutions needed to return public education to greater success for the students.
John also explains his advocacy for charter and online options in education. 
Lastly, we discuss John's opponents in the upcoming primary election.
